Day two takes you to the spice farms to experience the famous spice tour, followed by a visit to Stone Town. On the third day, you can unwind on the pristine beaches of Nungwi or Kendwa, enjoying the clear waters and vibrant marine life. The final day allows for a leisurely morning before departing, perhaps with a quick visit to a local village or a last-minute shopping spree in Stone Town. This tour perfectly balances adventure, culture, and relaxation, showcasing the best of Zanzibar.

ITINERARY

Day 1- Arrival in Zanzibar Airport.

On arrival at Zanzibar airport, you will be met by our Tanzania Safari Manager representative and transferred to your hotel.


Day 2: Prison Island + City Tour Stone Town

Prison Island: You will get the opportunity to visit the tortoise sanctuary, which contains a large colony of giant tortoises imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. The average weight of these creatures is 200 kg, and many of them are said to be over 150 years old. There will be a chance to touch the tortoise and take photos. The island is also home to a colony of beautiful peacocks.

Nakupenda Island: Nakupenda Beach starts from Seafront Neighborhood Port of Stone Town and then moves towards Prison Island, from Prison Island to Nakupenda Sand which is sometimes known as sweethearts and Romantic Island. Nakupenda is typically known to be one of the numerous beaches in Zanzibar that has clear blue water as well as white sands that are pure and clean. Meanwhile, the waters found in Nakupenda are suitable for snorkeling and swimming. After a late afternoon drive back then transfer you to Nungwi beach where you will overnight


Day 3: City Tour Stone Town + Spice Plantation Tour

After breakfast, depart for a guided City Tour in Stone Town for 3hrs where our guide will introduce you to all the buildings of interest and famous viewpoints. Stone town and its buildings are full of history and stories of the old times of Zanzibar, during the Sultans (Arabs), Europeans and Missionaries. Zanzibar has written the history of this beautiful island. You will visit the Anglican Cathedral and the Slave markets, the Palace of the Sultans, Tip Tip’s House, the Old Arabic Fort, Fordham Park and of course the famous Zanzibar Doors in our petite little streets. We will show you Henna Art and bring you to the fruit and vegetable market. So be ready for a walk through the long history of Zanzibar and its numerous streets.


After discover the history of Stone Town you will take 15minutes drive to Spice Plantation Center for minimum 3hrs. We will take you on a tour of a farm and explain each and every spice you can find in Zanzibar. You wouldn’t believe it, if you haven’t seen it yourself; did you know that the Cinnamon Tree has 3 different smells? Or green, red and black pepper is the same plant? Would you recognize vanilla and why it is so expensive? After you have finished your tour, fully packed with natural secrets, you have time to buy spices, soaps, and crèmes which are all hand made by the community within the farm, and also enjoy a fun lesson on traditional weaving then after your driver transfer you to Nungwi Beach where you will overnight


Day 4: Departure

After breakfast in the hotel, you will be relaxing at beach till the near time for departure then we will transfer you to the Airport.
