DESCRIPTION
Let's spend the day trip with the residence of the Hadzabe tribe, ancient hunter-gatherers who inhabit the land near Lake Eyasi, a beautiful soda lake that is part of the Great Rift Valley in East Africa. You will have the opportunity to mingle with the Hadzabe and learn all about hunting techniques, survival skills, food preparation and their cultural norms. The Hadzabe forage for food alone and return home with golden honey, sweet fruits, or plenty of wild animals (meat) if spots (hunts) them. The females move out in large groups, looking for bright berries, baobab fruits and tubers depending on the availability of the various snack food sources. In the rainy and humid season, sweet honey is the main food along with colorful fruits, tubers and game meat. This strain adjusts its diet with the seasons and is an incredibly skilled, selective, and opportunistic forager. They can only rely on themselves to support their families and tribe.
