Our five-day wildlife safari in Tanzania appeals to those who live their adventures. The 4 parks of the Northern Circuit of Tanzania are located in Tanzania discovering Lake Manyara National Park which includes the highest concentration of baboon trees. The alkaline Lake Manyara is encrusted with feathered flamingos. Tarangire National Park is famous and has one of the largest elephant populations in Africa. The Serengeti offers adventurous exploration images, beautiful landscapes and wildlife with the Ngorongoro Crater dubbed “Africa's Garden of Eden” and one of the wonders of the world.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Tarangire National Park to Mto wa Mbu

Accommodations: Client’s selection public campsite/ tented campsite/ Lodges

After waking up in the morning, a driver from Tanzania Safari Manager travel agency, specifically a Tanzania safari operator, will pick you up from your hotel before driving to Tarangire National Park, "Tarangire River" is a name for it River that runs through the park and is the only source of water for the animals in the dry season. It is an amazing landscape dotted with baobabs and tall grasses with a mixture of vegetation than the other parks in the North Safari Parks. Tarangire National Park is famous for its wildlife and birds. The bird species are more than 550 species including the yellow-necked turtle dove. Animals include some of the BIG FIVE and others like Omo the white giraffe who suffers from a genetic condition called secularism: elephant, lion, warthog, impala, cheetah, buffalo and baboons. After a fantastic full day excursion in this Tarangire National Park you will then drive to Mto wa Mbu where you will arrive in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.


Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Morning after breakfast drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park where adventure begins. The Serengeti National Park is home to the largest concentration of wildlife in the world including zebra, gazelle, lion, wildebeest, elephant and giraffe and in general the BIG FIVE. It is also the point of the seasonal wildebeest migration that can be the amazing adventure of a lifetime. Serengeti means "the land that moves forever". You'll stop at a kopje (outcrop) for lunch, enjoy the incredible views while you eat, and get ready for your adventures deeper into the Serengeti National Park. In the evening, head to the rest area for an overnight stay and dinner. The next day you have a full day to further explore Serengeti National Park.


Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast in the morning, gradually explore the Serengeti National Park. The park contained the most animals. This is a day where you will enjoy predators such as lions tracking down other animals as a food source. You might see more hippos, herds of monkeys and families of mongooses that day. After such an early start, a great and delicious lunch awaits you, which will be served in the park. In the afternoon, begin your Ngorongoro driving adventure by driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area accommodation for dinner and overnight.


Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

This fourth day safari destination in Lake Manyara National Park offers the same experience as Ngorongoro Crater, game viewing is just adventure enough. Most animals cannot leave the crater due to its high walls. This is the perfect place to see all members of The Big 5 in one day. You will have a great picnic lunch in Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is home to hyena, hippo, zebra, wildebeest and a variety of waterfowl. Your guide will highlight you for to share his experience with information about the wildlife and vegetation. Fanaka Camp offers competent camping facilities for rest, dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha/Moshi

Your final day of safari begins with breakfast and then takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, which stretches across the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Lake Manyara National Park is a wildlife sanctuary of forests, dry scrub, Soda Lake and a bird lover's paradise. The forest is mesmerizing with the chirping of the birds and the fluttering with the antics of the monkeys in the forest; Giraffes roam the savannah and lions rest in the trees, others rest in the shade of the trees, while families of hippo’s bathe in the waters of Soda Lake. Receive and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch served in the park before heading back to Moshi/Arusha where your best safari adventure ends. On request we can arrange a transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport.
